I didn't say about it here, but I got Undertale on Friday, marathoned Neutral yesterday, and replayed Pacifist today. There's been a lot of emotions over the past few hours. I kinda had a "everyone says this is amazing but it can't be that much so, right" feeling before playing. And now, all I really have to say about the game that isn't positive is that a couple bosses can drag on a little bit. Man... man. That was quite an experience.
wow the first str8 answer I've gotten you get one cyber point they can only be redeemed for photos of me
I had the same expectations when I first played, I honestly expected a mediocre game that was hyped to hell because "indie game so charming omg" But yeah, Undertale's really great. It's got one of the most fun combat systems I've ever played and the story went places I truly never expected it to, which is really hard this day and age. HR's one of my favorite games of all time, go for that if you haven't played it yet.
Oh man, yeah, I love the combat. The dodging is like Warioware mixed with a shmup but a fair bit more forgiving and it just feels so satisfying to pull off the more difficult attacks without taking a hit. Thinking about it, the whole thing of people going into stuff with expectations opposite of common word and maybe also leaving with the opposite of it is really interesting.
Undyne is best character. I downloaded her theme so I can play it every time I play a game. ITS TOO HYPE!
