Since we will be able to sail the seas and oceans on planets with sailing ships. I was wondering if people would want to have ship battles on the water and how would you like it handled? Would you like FTL style battles with ship cannons and other ship weapons? Would you rather have weapons you could gain control of and use against enemy ships by targeting it yourself? Or would you rather ships be piloted the same as mechs and use ship weapons like mech weapons? If this thread gains popularity Ill format it better to be more organized. Just wanted to see how people wanted ocean ship battles handled because I haven't seen a thread discussing it yet.
