    Only issues that it might have (that I can think of with current info) is that either;
1: Wiring not having proper logic gates and such.
    or
2: No proper programmable computers (something similar to the computercraft mod for minecraft would be fun).

I really do hope both of those are wrong. I think they are, because Tiy said there will be alot you can do with ze viringz.

trial and error is the solution in this early genre of games. Tiy and the team will try to address and fix and add in as much as they possibly can to the game post release. But of course there will always be that question in games that aim to have a unique and customized feel and experience. This is a good thing when looking at game progression long term. Future generations of games of this genre will ask themselves "what can we do to address issues in a preceding game that hindered our outlook and overall experience and make these improvements to our own?"

this is a sizable chunk of what starbound is doing, to establish a unique identity that will continue the cycle of the creation and evolution of new games by standing out as a role-model of sorts.
And with its predecessor terraria, keeping an eye on its progress, redigit will undoubtedly proceed
with a successor that will address starbounds unfavorable quirks, whatever they may be.

    that said,

I think most of the criticism will all come down to the limited mechanics in the game. which isn't a bad thing.

  10. I really can't think of anything :geek:
I'll come back here when the game comes out

Customization for the robots. Permanent customization options for any race is a no. And as stated above enemies that don't fit the planet and lack of variation on said planet. Hopefully a planet with feature at least 12 different enemies. lack of armcannons for any race esp. robots. Armcannons are awesome. On the subject of armcannons. Anything that gets in the way of me pretending I'm playing Super Metroid again is bad.

Hmm...I'm unsure of how smooth the "adventuring" is going to be.
Terraria was kind of annoying to explore until the 1.1 patch, where they introduced that "Shift-Context" key.
Being able to place torches on a whim alone was immensely useful, as was the Grapple hotkey.

If all the hotkeys are reprogrammable. well, good. If not, it's something to consider.

if you have an arm cannon, rest assured it will be large enough to require all 7 of your arms.

Well i'd hope the developers would be intelligent enough to put specific body parts in for specific biomes/planets.

Its more of my worries, but anyway.

I must say the planet levels could be lacking because im very sure that someone cannot feel the difference in diffilculty for....say : a lv8 and 9 planet.

If thats the case, you could go to a lv 10 planet to stock up on assecories/gear then skip to 30 stock up go to 50 ect...that make it no difference to add 10 level of diffilculty istend of 100 in that case...hopefully it scales well.

Other thing that it might lack, is something about the crafting system :
The ability to craft with the items in your inventory AND what you have stocked up on your ship(only if you craft on your ship), istend of taking random items form your inventory and hope you can make something with it...at less wen you just start out. (Looking at you terraria, but will be worse with starbound since theres alot more things to collect.)

Although I would just explore forever, I worry about its lastability.

There is enough backing for a feline race that I would be surprised if they don't. If not expect a mod. I always liked the khajiit. Kinda hope as well they make it in.
