OBSOLETE Wedding Dresses and Red Shirts! 2016-07-03

Hello Everyone!

Due to changes in 1.4, this won't exactly work anymore. So going to go ahead and get rid of the files. Thanks to everyone who used it in the past. I am working on a fluffier version of the long dress because it's not fluffy but who knows when that is going to come out or if it ever will~

 

So cute, can't wait to actually wear a wedding dress and not my plain regular clothes

Cuute. Jinx is trying to do some massive stuff with her mod so she hasnt checked out the skirt issue just yet.

But could you make an alt version of the shirts? Like are those added to the list or did you edit ones already there? I like red, but its not my number one.

Which ones and what color? I would mind editing them since it doesn't take that long

They don't replace any shirt in the game and are modification of certain shirts. They are recolors of the shirts in the game to be specific (I guess I should clear that up)

 

Awh, ohhh you should totally add these new to the default shirts list if you can a bunch of shirts, anyway! That way you can have the vanilla version and your colored ones!

Did you need a back up of the shirts file to copy and paste that into?

1st shirt in row one - green and pink, super cutsey pastels
3rd shirt in row one - grey sweatshirt, pink shirt
4th shirt in row one - forest, dark grey

2nd shirt in row two - tan jacket
3rd shirt in row two - bandana darker red?
4th shirt in row two - like first shirt in row one
5th shirt in row two - in all colors because its so hip and cute

 

They do add up to the default shirts. they don't replace anything so you have the vanilla shirts + these shirts
. I suggested backing up the shirt file in case you want to get rid of the extra shirts (I don't know why someone would but it's always better to be safe than sorry)

I'll try to get these done as soon as possible probably it will be done in a couple of days if real life doesn't get in the way

Err, oop! Is the skirt-part supposed to replace the pants completely...?

 

Oooooooo I love the puff it's exactly the kind of wedding dress I want. It hides the shoes also so I won't have to worry about matching shoes to it. I tried using the flower dance dress mod for the flower dance, and I couldn't find shoes that matched at all. Lets just say I was the only gal wearing big 'ol work boots. If I ever do get married in game, I won't look like a jerk who wears their grass stained work clothes to their wedding.

Bonus that I love red wearing red, so the shirts are a welcome edition to me.

do you think you can make a checkered version and/or with a bow in the back, and another buttons down the front of it?

If you use the GetDressed mod it won't replace the pants. For anyone who is wanting to use HitGirl's wedding dress with GetDressed, I made the necessary files. You can download them here: http://community.playstarbound.com/...d-new-update-6-11.113731/page-16#post-2925532

 

Yes it does the XNB version does. I'm currently talking with Jinxiewinxie to add the skirts in her mod so there wouldn't be a need to replace the files (unless you don't want to use SMAPI)

The running looks perfect in the female farmer hahahah (the male farmer had problems with feet sticking out and it was impossible to cover since the skirt had space limits hahaha.)

That's what I planned make a couple of version for the dress. (I wanted something really fabulous at first (those dresses with layers) but I didn't get how the skirt changes with the Sprite so I had to make something easy hehe.

@Jinxiewinxie @Hitgirl911 Oh, word! Will SMAPI run in a Wine directory? I've been running SDV on my Mac using a Wineskin wrapper, so it's been super easy to install mods, but I'm not sure about SMAPI (since it seems to create its own directory?? )

 

I'm not sure =/ Sorry =( You might check the wine thread on these forums to see if someone else says it works or doesn't.

 

I think it should work but I'm not sure (I don't have a Mac).

Try to see if it work, if not you can still use the XNB version of this mod. Be sure to back up the original file though!
