By this, i mean if i ran into a enemy, it would block me as if it was made of blocks instead of being a entity (this does not need to apply to ALL npcs)
And if you want to know where this idea came from, i imagined grappling hooks and Attack on Titan (giant grapple-able bosses)

you get knocked back when you touch a mob.

Well i still mean that it would allow other entities (and grappling hooks) to be blocked.

Grappling onto mobs sounds cool. But bumping into npcs in, say, a village, would get quite annoying as you'd have to continuously jump.

i guess i didn't state it, but i meant SOME npcs when i thought of it.

Ah yes, okay. But I really like the idea of grappling onto huge monsters, like in shadow of the colossus or attack on titan. Having huge climbable bosses would make this suggestion even better

Maybe if you are moving quickly you can push past them slightly like you do in a crowded fair. This feature in AC was nice.

or maybe you just bump them out of the way?

Do you mean you want this to be a thing, or do you think that it already works this way? Because mobs do not do damage on touch, they have to perform an attack to damage the player. As it is now, players can safely pass by an enemy without taking damage, assuming the enemy isn't performing an attack at the same time.
