NPC's getting random status?

    Hello, sorry if this has been addressed, but I tried a couple deeds today and one of my NPC's keeps self-immolating to death for no reason. At first I thought it was because it tried to use the teleporter, because they tend to vomit after beaming around, so I just assumed they got a random status from it or something. But then it started happening even when it was just chillin on the couch. Eventually it dies and respawns, but it keeps happening every time. Anyone have any ideas as to why that might be happening?

    They didn't put their fire shields on.
    That or they ate too much chili.

    Problem solved, from reddit:

    Each NPC has a randomly chosen personality that alters how it interacts with objects and other NPCs. The 'clumsy' personality has a small chance of causing itself minor injuries in certain object interactions, and that's what's happening here.

    Posted this on the reddit thread that Fresh Ears linked, but will post here for visibility I guess.. it's an interesting look into the system:

    There are 94 total objects that NPC react with. But their personalities and extra reaction chances are set in the \npcs\base.npctype file.
    Objects and how Clumsy NPCs can interact with them:
    • Arcade Machines: Finish game = Explode
    • Wiring Consoles, Buttons, and Switches: Touch them = Explode
    • Vending Machines: Crouch to collect = Explode
    • Hand Dryers: Touch them = Explode
    • Hand Dryers: Finish Drying = Burning
    • Furnaces: Finish Warming Hands = Burning
    • Campfires: Finish Warming Hands = Burning
    • Water Coolers: Finish Getting Water = Wet
    • Sinks: Finish Washing Hands = Wet
    • Teleporters: Touch them = Explode
    • Teleporters: After Using = Vomit and/or Burning
    • Turrets: Touch them = Explode
    • Gongs: Bang on them = Hurt Hand (Hop around)
    • Drums: Bang on them = Hurt Hand (Hop around)
    Note: They have a chance of these happening along with the "normal" reactions to those objects. Still, when they say clumsy they really mean it apparently.

    I might make a wiki page or guide detailing these interactions further.. but it would be really long..
