I had actually checked this base out (both the night before last by mistake while traveling amongst...THE STARS...and also last night when they added the mission to the broken update). I love the flow of it so far, seriously some deep space horror kind of stuff. Here is hoping I can find the generator somewhere.
I'm not sure if this is just me or not, but S.A.I.L. isn't displaying any text when I click on options. The missions real nice though, very spooky and I was destroyed by some of the later enemies. Fun!
Just curious: Maybe I'm interpreting this wrong, but it sound like this would make anyone in your party come with you. I don't think that's the case, but just in case that is on the table, could we take it off right now? It'd make much more sense if you got a pop-up message, like, A player in your party has started a mission! <player> is going on the mission: <mission> Would you like to join them? Yes (Closing automatically in ten seconds) No Don't receive pop-ups when my party members start missions. Or even if it just only sent you on the mission if you were on the party member's ship when the mission started.
Thanks for sticking out your (likely) long neck and posting this, SamuriFerret! I love that you guys implemented a Red October base, and a mission that has the players hunt for it. Because the sign clearly says "online", the reddish-glow must be what was intended, right?
I think there should be a sneaky heist mission where you go in vents at times going past grates when guards aren't around, sometimes needing to get out of the vents (waiting for guards to move to a different rooms so you can sneak past) because the vents are blocked of, getting back in the vents on the other side of the blocked vent, and maybe at the start you have to wait for a guard to go out side so you can sneak in past the locked door (maybe even locking him out side, you could also have more than one way to get in like the vents. Also it would be funy if the guards are kittens that have some powerful atack because.
So are these missions story based or are they just random things to do? Because if they're story based I'll probably wait till they are all done before jumping in and playing any.
^^ damn how is one supposed to comment after something like that? .D Thx for the info Ferret, sound good - keep it coming
