Now I'm even less likely to play as Novakid. Not that I understood the hype about them in the first place.
Well, see, everyone will have a different opinion about what things "should" be like. Personally, I didn't understand until now (with the Novakids' Wild West theme) just exactly how completely silly the game is themed. I mean... not 100% serious, sure. But this is "Star Trek TOS episode: A Piece of the Action" levels of silly. And that's okay. If you want a more serious or somehow different universe, suggest it to a like-minded modder, or do the mod yourself if you have the skills, or acquire the skills if you feel that strongly about it. CF can't please everyone at the same time, which is why they're being so mod-friendly. And kudos to them for that.
I do like some of them and many more should be added, also it's not a small part of the game if you have to interact with it every time you do something with your ship and the ship is a huge part.
I remember when I saw Starbound on Kickstarter. It felt like putting a coin into a piggy bank to build a rocket to the stars. Those were the good days.
so you arn't saying that people should just get over it because its a game? and you aren't going to ban people for having different opinions than yours and voicing them?? thats good.... what constitutes getting mad, whats your definition of getting mad? 100 percent not hostile intent i actually want to know i think this horse ai is fine, it suits the novakid well, i think i might prefer an engineer, or whatever, cause its a train ship? but hopefully someone will make a mod about it no complaints about this horse [inset obligatory horse joke here]
Huh. It's a wonder no one thought of this before. A horse A.I. would've made sense to the Glitch if it were a pegasus. Because, you know, medieval transportation and it flies, etc... It's just a thought, optimagus prime is a fine choice. Put those stones down, please...
You make an excellent point. None of us seemed to be thinking of the fact that it was a spaceship AI and that horses are transportation. Then again, that's just my view, maybe others have said that.
