Not seeing new recipes

Do i need to make a new game for the new recipes to show up? Maybe just remake the crafting benches? I saw in the notes it said losts new recipes, and a portable pixel printer after tier 2. Im in gamma sector and dont see anything new. First patch i noticed the same thing and just restarted, but im much further along at this point, and i probably avg 10 hours a sector the way i play.

 

Craft the star maps again.

 

I have crafted the new map chip again and used it, but still no new recipes...

 

I just tested as well, re-crafting and using starmap mk2 does not give the new recipes.

 

I saw many new recipes on stuff like the anvil including guard spawners and avian spawners

 

That worked for me. Portable pixel printer shows up now.

 

So, any ideas what I should do as recrafting the star map didn't work for me?

 

Did you tried in another server/singleplayer? I had the same issue, i was playing in single player and when the patch came i had already applied the starmap upgrade, so I made it again but it didn't work. However, if you log with your character in a multiplayer server, or another server you don't usually play you will see that, whilst having all your tech and recipes you still have to craft the map upgrade to go throught the sector. I made the upgrade in the server and applied it, and the portable pixel printer appeared!

 

this is why they ask you to make a new character. some stuff just doesn't work so well with existing characters
