Bug/Issue "Not In Front Of The Children" achievement not working in 1.2?

finally got a computer capable of play SB and stuff at decent speed. game's been working fine so far, but there seems to be a bug concerning the "Not In Front Of The Children" achievement?

i started a new character (novakid, casual, tutorial mission) and killed a mother poptop, but the achievement notification didn't pop up. this seems to be an issue with just this achievement: most of the other story/misc achievements seem to work fine. i did the same thing on another planet, and another new file (avian, survival, tutorial skipped); upon killing the mother poptop, the achievement still didn't pop up.

anyone else getting the same issue?

(EDIT: dkjhsfgkjsdhgkjdshg make that 1.2.1 but i'm not sure if this has been persistent in 1.2)

So.. U have a steam version? Maybe you try do it in "unstable" SB?

 

Achievements are link to Steam account, not the character

And if you have a bit of mercy, kill the children xD

 

I try play in unstable ver. and I can get this achiv.
So.. It's problem only this (stable) version
