No seperate Hat Slot?

I thought this game would have gave us the option to wear multiple accessories...
It would be pretty enjoyable.. What does everyone else thing?!?

 

Yeah, I don't really see the question here... There are vanity slots for every gear item.

The accessories would be considered the cosmetic item slot, no?

I don't know if they will have a system like the original release of ff14, which had two wrist, earring, etc slots and so you could mix and match how they showed up on the character. That would be great, but I would say such a suggestion, if done, would be post-release.

 

My character Has glasses on.. I like my glasses.. I also own a wizard Hat.. I want to wear them both.
They don't block each other so why not?!?

 

I think he's asking if you wear goggles can you wear a hat too. If that is indeed the question then no.

 

He/she/it means a separate slot specifically for a hat item. It didn't say head.

Hat + glasses + rebreather + etc.

 

Not really a question. I was just saying they should make it a thing.. especially if they are planning to put lots of different hat styles into this game..

 

Oh. No, that would require them to put glasses and other items of the like into a separate category, such as Miscellaneous or Accessories. That's probably not going to happen, it would most likely be too much work. It'd be cool if it was possible, though.

 

Well the game is in beta and i heard they were looking for suggestions.. if enough players want it.. I'm sure they would make it a thing..

Good suggestion , i would like a '' face slot '' too for the reason that nookie said. Googles should'nt interfere with an hat.

 

A "hide helmet" option would be nice, so I can see my character's face unobstructed.
Some races (glitch for example) don't have a single default option to show your face (while still wearing a helmet) - besides maybe the fugly goggles that hide your eyes (if the goggles could be toggled to go on your forehead, that would look much cooler).

 

I know Terraria simply had a vanity item that acted as a non-existent helmet to solve the hide helmet issue, which would probably work out here too... It's a simple way of doing that part at least. I would so totally wear goggles on my forehead too, that'd be sweeet.

Only issue I can see with making separate hat vs face slots is that some of them could overlap... but that's a minor issue at best.

 

Multiple vanity item slots instead of just the 3. So you can mix say, glasses with a hat?

Yea that would be cool and should not be that hard to implement. Pants and boots for legs. Gloves, necklace, coat and a backpack for chest.

I can see it.

 

This idea would totally add extra flavor to the player characters. I would like to see this implemented, too.

It wouldn't. All it would require is the ability to combine items and overlay the sprites. Probably restrict those combined items to vanity-only.

 

Separate slot for glasses and stuff would be cool
