No recognizable player in local coop

    I was certain there was a text to distinguish player in local coop, like 1, 2, etc...
    I played today with some friends and didn't see that so basically we were four playing with the same character, it was pretty hard to play.
    I'm going from one disappointment to another with this game.
    Was this changed? Is there a parameter of some sort?
