This is crazy ... I do not have pickaxe or wooden axe. I simply don't see in in the list. Are you serious ? Even very first wooden ? I mean damn I am driving myself crazy trying to figure out what is wrong and stuff. This Wiki sites need to update info. Anyhow. I am already on quest to make Iron Anvil .... I can't go that deep with no pick. Anyhow what do i do ? I mean where do I find one, kill animals or what ? Thank you so much.
Ahhh .... man I purchased game almost right away when it came out then decided to wait a year for it to mature ....soooo much has changed. I'll upgrade it. How about actual Pickaxe where do I get one. When do I get actual recipe to make them myself ?
Finally after making Iron Anvil I can make pickaxe ..... WOOOOT ? Can't repair them ? .... Okay what peopel do to mine in this game this days ? Upgrading Manipulator ? I mean Can I get it to be Diamond grade mining tool or above.
It goes from copper to diamond but I think you need a better anvil to build diamond picks. Also when you get even higher tier anvils you can build drills which mine less area but have insane dig speed.
The matter manipulator is now the main mining tool. Fully upgraded its better then any pickaxe or drill including diamond (it can mine a 4x4 area even, while a diamond pickaxe can only mine a 3x3 and a drill 2x2). Pickaxes and drills are now nothing more then temporary mining boosts. To emphasize this temporarity they have made them break quickly and removed the repair function. They are mainly usefull early to mid game.
