My suggestion would be to take no further suggestions until everything is done and the game is released.... Then, add the good suggestions as updates to the game
I'm just going to say this is a dumb idea. Especially if they plan on another stretch goal, which I personally doubt but is still possible. Edit: Plus, people come up with some amazing ideas. If Chucklefish finds an idea better than a system already in the game, they're likely to use it. They take tons of feedback from the community, which is a good thing. You're suggesting cutting that off, and that's why this idea is stupid.
What I saw it's people need to stop Suggestions MAJOR things that require ReWork a lot of stuff in the game, when most of the Core Game is already done. Suggesting smaller things, tweaks, etc it's fine... But now I see here a lot of suggestions THAT would DELAY THIS GAME TO 2020.
Stop exaggerating. I think people should just read over the information to save everyone a lot of hassle dealing with suggestions that are already implemented, unless they have some improvement to a system confirmed as in the game, like wiring.
Many Many Suggestions are already in-game. Others are really things that would require major Reworks of this game, some people go deep into hugely complex things, when a simple system well done can provide the same amount of fun!
For certain things, but using the wiring system again, what we've seen is really bare and dumbed down. Frankly it's bothersome with all of the potential that Starbound has, and I don't mind having complex systems as being optional but it could be just like redstone where it's simple enough to get into and get basic things like doors working but you can do far more complex things.
Wiring may not be complete, nothing is confirmed. But it would be a waste not expand it. If if they can't for launch, I have my hopes for after-launch.
I'm pretty sure they'd have the sense to not compulsively add anything that would slow the game down too much before it gets released...
I'm pretty sure they are going to completely ignore all the suggestions until the game is finished. I assumed that they would start taking the most upvoted ideas seriously post release and then add all the best suggestions as big updates, kind of like the way TF2 does it.
