No mining / placing objects Areas

    I just hope that there is some sort of "devs mechanics" ( and server owner mechanics) for define some zones as not minable/object placeable or destrucible by explosions. I suppose that some sort of mechanic they will need to implement to make history mode dungeons/quest and content where player has to jump or use skills to bypass certain hazards or puzzles, we all know that megaman/castelvania and other games, wouldn't be the same if you could skip the zones just by digging around them.

    These 2 screenshoots look pretty cool, but the reality is that just by digging or placing platforms they lose all the appeal and sense.

    Also i would like to have that option when creating my worlds or maps, and in the future with director mode, for defining areas as not minable or alterable.
    With this mechanic we can make great jumping puzzles, secret rooms, closed zones only accesible with keys/passwords, traps or just adventure maps to be playable the way we meant to be,

    I really don't know how to implement this option for players or server owners to use it, maybe to throw some ideas you could use an special(and rare/expensive) invisible paint and all the things painted with it are not minable/removable. Or make an especial item like terraria's wrench where you can see and define those areas.
    For map builders and "director mode" there must be an easy way also :p

    In short i just hope that the two screenshots above will not be able to skip easy by mining or placing platforms/blocks ;)
