Bug/Issue No Experience Points on Switch

updated to the latest switch version. Married Penny. Leveled a bunch of professions up. Switched between local, online, and single player modes on the same farm. Now I can’t raise any skills up no matter how much I try. Fishing (level 5) for 6 hours, caught about 100 fish (mostly carp in the sewer), no movement on fishing skill. Gave melons to Penny for two weeks, no movement on hearts to max. Gave fruits (universal likes) to ten or so townsfolk twice a week for a season, still at zero hearts with them. It looks like everything that is dependent on experience gains has been frozen.
