Bug/Issue [Nintendo Switch] Deluxe Coop Auto-Feeder Not Working

It seems that the Deluxe Coop auto-feeder is not working as intended. I do not have the coop to max capacity, it has a total of 8 so far. It seems the auto-feeder has a difficulty replenishing hay. If the feeder fills up the coop for a total of 12 hay pieces, once my animals eat the 8, I'll be left over with 4 hay pieces. On the next rainy day, my feeder will not replenish and I will be left with 4 animals which eat and 4 which don't.

This issue can be replicated. I only noticed this happening in Summer so far. It did not happen in Spring.
