Have you ever wished to scratch someone with brutal power? Have you ever wished you had climbing spikes on your hands? Well you can have it all with the Ninja claw! First used by ninjas and called Tekko-Kagi, these types of claws would be relativity non-evasive when using other weapons, such as a rifle. They would be most effective against soft targets, such as bunnies or non-armored foes. They could also be used to climb (soft?) vertical surfaces, such as dirt or stone walls. Maybe not metal, being it's very hard to punch through metal with a claw. Thoughts and concerns? Similar ideas?
yep those claws are more what i was thinking of. if i could use weapons with them equipped (dont know how) i would use em for everything EDIT: also this
im not so sure about them being able to climb up soft surfaces, but i do think a set of those would be cool to use in starbound also, they should be able to inflict a "bleeding" debuff if hit enough times by them: but that's my opinion dark souls(and demon's souls too) had a set of claws to use and they were pretty cool
