Closed Nightly/Unstable wont load

After the newest update for Nightly/Unstable version, I'll open up the launcher but when i click on "Launch Starbound" it won't launch.

 

Queen Kyren is already fixing it.
Give her a few min.

You'll likely notice since it'll come with another nightly push

 

so it wont update again until tomorrow? or until they have another update ?

 

Oh, nightly was more referring to the buildname itself.
I highly suspect it'll be updated once it's fixed.
When the usual steam sleepiness time between push, verification (is there such a thing?) and distribution passes, we'll get the update.

 

I was hopeing to play alittle nightly build today thats all

Its still not allowing me to launch starbound.... I even reinstalled unstable starbound just in case it was my computer

 

The nightly update isn't out.

It's been pushed to steam, but steam itself needs time to distribute it.
From now on it's all dependent on how fast steam is.

i just hate how steam is taking an hour and a half trying to update it

 

At least it's updated now.

 

Just got the new update through steam and nightly will not load for me either. The border of the launcher flashes white and that's it. Sorry, don't have a log for you to see.

 

Not sure if you're having the same problem as us over in this thread, but just in case . . .

There are three files that are on your computer but in the wrong place.

Find these files in "Starbound - Unstable\win32\launcher\" . . .
-- "libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll"
-- "libstdc++-6.dll"
-- "libwinpthread-1.dll"

Move them (not copy, move) up a level, putting them in "Starbound - Unstable\win32\".

Now the game should run just fine!
