Just did, (Edited my post just before seeing your new reply) works. What's the difference between the two launch methods anyway? ... It tells me I need a "BeamAxe" to teleport down ._. "Failsafe" thing. What's up with that... ? I can still teleport around by setting home and teleporting to home instead though..
I actually don't know the technical differences. I just know that OpenGL works better, more fps, etc for some computers. I think I read that the beamaxe is actually the matter manipulator.
They mean the Matter Manipulator. Have it out when using the teleporter, or just use the Beam Down button in the corner.
That seems like such a pointless restriction if you don't have to have the MM out when using the beam down/up button.
Maybe they're planning on explaining the MM as not only a manipulator of matter, but also as a remote control for the ship teleporter. It would be very unwise to leave the ship without your keys. I doubt there is a space AAA - Astral Assistance Agency.
I found a bug. I went into an Apex village and I found a merchant's store, I talked to him, tried to open the store and I crashed. Will post log if I have one later.
I think it is incomplete code. They are likely checking to see if you have it in your inventory, but it might just take less code to check if it is in your hand. If heldItem == MatterManipulator then Allow teleport else Do not allow teleport end Something like that. Rather than a series of loops to check each and every slot. EDIT: I should mention that as I don't know how the inventory system works as I have not looked at the code I can't be sure if this is the case. However this is very likely as it is much less work than a set of loops to check what I assume to be three arrays. (One array for hotbar, then two more for the two inventory tabs). Eitherway, if the system works anything like I think it does, or even if it is just one array, a system like checking your held item is just much easier for testing a teleporter lock as it takes less time to code than a function to check every slot. not to mention it would result in less debugging text.
Allow me to rephrase: he had to ask the one dev with no obligation to fix the quest data or anything at all.
i didn't know that @kyren quests on the nightlies are broken, could someone look into fixing them please.
What is the error message? (you might have to move/rename/delete player or universe. Also might have to make a new character nightlies can sometimes have issues with old "saves")

My starbound is not working he having problems starting the "nightly" ... my starbound is working perfectly except this mode the beta it says the following when the error when I start "this application has requested the run time in it an usual away. "it usually starts up when I open the starbound" open gl "and up the other boot mode ...
