i just ment, i would check if he had posted it himself yet, since it is his video, and he usually posts them when he makes them. to prevent a double post. =P

I hope hunger is optional. That shit looks stupid imo. Hopefully there is a difficulty setting that does not include hunger.

I will use these features because in my opinion even more immerse you in the game

Tiy has said that hunger takes a while to decay entirely so that it isn't a hinderance on gameplay. It shouldn't be a problem for anyone, though if you're really that upset about it, it can be turned off. It's an immersion factor but some gamers don't have the attention spans to deal with that sort of meta gameplay.

The video is now private, the stream was made just to let people observe as he tested some animations and other features. Also the music as you've probably wasn't Starbound and not related in any manner which also lowered the quality of video. I hope you guys don't mind, you're not missing out on a lot and I'm sure Tiy will be streaming soon to show you guys some more stuff!

 

It doesn't have to do with attention span. Some people just don't want to have to deal with having the constant threat of needing to eat in order to play a game. They like being able to do stuff without worrying about that as a side issue, and view trying to constantly collect food to keep fed to be a hindrance more than anything. Also, some people just don't care about 'immersion' in video games, or trying to place themselves in a game.

For me, I might try and play with the hunger mechanic to try it out out of curiosity and see if it works for me.

 

I'm doing the hunger mechanic since, let's be real, I'm sure this game is going to be really easy especially with friends.

Besides, it seems like a rather big gameplay element seeing as you set up farms to grow food and be able to eat. It adds more to the game and gives you more things to be on the lookout for, even if it is really quite simple.
