Does anyone here have any idea when the big update is coming?? I'm really excited to start playing again
The devs don't give out release dates far in advance anymore, unfortunately. Tiy said they're aiming for a release this year, which isn't binding but sounds fairly reasonable based on what's been shown in the recent dev blogs. On a side note, moved to Starbound FAQs. The Social subforum isn't used for Starbound-related threads, and the Hangouts section is supposed to be used for clans and social groups.
