I have to wonder what kind of happy fairy gumdrop rainbow huggy kissy fluffy bunny forum people are reading to think this place is a septic tank. I've seen my own sainted mother hurl out better invective than the worst of the mooks here. And every single argument is harmless because it's just a few petty boneheads doing pretty much the equivalent of this:

theres alot of people having a quite positive view on things who say that those who are negative are being super negative when they arent and vice versa. its alot of taking the smoking match for the house fire

Some people are kinda weirdos, like this Merlin guy for putting wall shackles above his main characters bed...

Well yeah what was said before: Reddit gets all the information infront of us, which is kinda brainless imo, but ok.
People are usually nice and friendly here, and in most cases argumentations are kept on a civil/niveaued level which is kinda rare these days.
Its alot better then most other communities and the mods here are also friendly and open to talk to, which is also kinda rare. Means they are actually not abusing their power or anything like that or overdo themself (complete contrast to: censorship of criticism on Minecraftforums.net, being yelled at for reporting hentai avatars on minecraftforums.net, being infracted for calling out an obvious troll on minecraftforums.net, Admin Abuse on minecraftforums.net). Oh and usually people trolling and trying to start a flame war get sorted out by other people in the community. That sounded kinda creepy, but well... they get absorbed or just thrown out hehe

If you look at reddit and twitter there are just as many negative replies to the dev team. I have come to the realization that the smartphone era is to blame for the new trend of developers using social media to communicate. Everywhere you go in the world people have there eyes glued to their smart phones. It is in my experience a lot more convenient to post 1 sentence replies/info on twitter and reddit then going to a forum, waiting for the loading between pages and scrolling the hell out of each page to look for what you have to reply to. I do not support this new method of communication however after thinking about it. It only makes sense.

No, the bronies here are pretty tame. You'll never really have to get abrasive with them and they won't try to start arguments *Cough*Youtube*Cough*.

    Anyways, back on topic...
The community is fantastic, especially the modding one. They'll help you no matter how nubbish the question is.

I have literally nothing to contribute to this thread except for this warning to the OP:

Mention hotkey rebinding or meteor showers, and everybody loses their shit.
