New Technology and Mechanics Suggestions

    I'd like to suggest some ideas to change the game with high tech stuff that will bridge the gap between what the spaceship can do vs. the medieval themes we love so far in the game. Hopefully these ideas will be able to expand on the mods currently created or give the game designers some insight. We want to really mesh the conventional fantasy play style and the more modern SIFI together.

    First off, Id like to thank the game designers for all their hard work and for being openminded when they created this awesome game. It is a nice addition to our repertoire of games and most of my friends and family are starting to play this. It is going to be the best 2D game in the world and it has all the expandability to be able to do so.

    Basic suggestions:

    1. There needs to be an energy system in the game.
    -Coal generator to start. This generates 160J per 1 unit of fuel (Recipe: Furnace + 8 iron bars + 2 copper bars)
    -Advanced generators to follow...(such a wind, solar, etc)

    2. There needs to be a wiring system in the game.
    -Copper wire to start. This transports energy. Each wire piece is one block long and can only be attached from a device to more wire, the back wall or roof (Recipe: 3 copper bars + 2 leather gives 6 pieces of wire)
    -Higher voltage, more advanced wires to follow...

    3. There needs to be way to process resources now that we have energy.
    -Adds efficiency because it gives two ores out of one.
    -Adds crafting versatility because processed ores are a new crafting material.
    -One way to do this is to create a Grinder to break the raw ores into powders, then smelt them. This requires 50J per seconds to run.
    (Recipe: 8 cobblestone + 8 iron bars + 2 copper bars + 3 cobblestone picks)
    -Can add more efficient or higher volume to follow...

    4. There needs to be energy storage in the game.
    -Battery. This stores 2.5 KJs. Can be a placed brick that attaches to wire or in the battery slot inside a generator (Recipe: 4 copper bars + 1 ground coal + 1 ground silver)
    -Greater power storage to follow...

    With the basic suggestion I have offered, there is options for automated mining and farming, heated armor for cold planets, and power tools such as mining drills or chainsaws and many more.

    How About a liquid mechanic to pump water or other liquids?
    Pumps would be a grate use of energy.
