New Stretch Goal Poll - Fossils or Penguin Mode?

Fossils, because it adds more things to do, even if its that little

Definitely Fossils. Don't get me wrong, being a penguin would be cool I guess but having Fossils I think beats that.

 

Fossils for sure, I mean penguins could be cool and all, but fossils will be around no matter your play through, it's much more worth it.

fossils for the win I wanna make genetic modifications to my character: dragon fossil=dragon breath ability.

Penguin mode is something that can easily be done in the normal game mode, as well as enforced by server commands. Gonna vote fossils, since it may open up opportunities for genetic research and cloning of new beasts, ala Jurassic Park.

EDIT: I didn't see the part about Penguin Mode actually making you play as a penguin. Sounds a little more interesting, but I'll stick with fossils.

To be fair, penguin mode could be a third stretch goal or a post-release thing. I still think it sounds amusing......

 

They both sound fun, but fossils are something that could be enjoyed by EVERYONE whereas penguin mode is something you'd need to opt in to. My vote is for fossils

 

well i would prefer another race but id have to choose fossils

 

I am an avid fan of fossils and I would be overjoyed to see them in game (and collect them) but everyone loves a penguin so I honestly see them winning.

 

I'm not much for Hardcore modes but am a completionist so things like collectable fossils is just my thing

 

The whole fossils concept is certainly more appealing as it can add more options to customization, and it's something you have to find and work for so you can display it proudly in your abode.
Doesn't mean I'm bagging the penguin idea, i just think it should be something added later once the game is a little more complete.

 

I would like to uncover old TopPop bones, and make a museum on a server.

And over-price entry to look at old things.

fossils. if you unearth a fossil, it could be of ancient but powerful technology or an extinct animal that you can now recreate and tame.
