I feel like some of the races other than Hylotl will also be getting unique interiors. Hopefully that will end up fixing some of the complaints regarding the Floran ship.

I like the Floran ship's exterior, though I wouldn't mind changing the pinkness to some other off-white.

 

You don't need to be aerodynamic in space. I wouldn't call the lunar lander aerodynamic (the service module happened to be aerodynamic, but that's just because the thing has a capsule designed for re-entry on the nose).

 

Damnit! Why did you mention this? Now I can't un-see it either.

Hopefully the cockpits are temporary and will get a small update later.

 

A lunar lander is not an interplanetary craft. It does not accelerate to the velocities where it matters.

Edit: Actually, I don't think we even have any spacecraft capable of accelerating to the speed it matters. But it becomes an increasing concern as you get closer to the speed of light, as in the case of a ship that can travel from the Earth to the Moon in a minute instead of a day.

 

I was looking on a wiki and found this.

 

It's the 'no background' version of the Apex ship. The ship interiors are (almost) fully customizable.

 

I like the Apex ship the best frankly.

 

What do you have against the ship being pink?

Not to butt in, but people do have different preferences you guys. I mean, for example, I'd prefer a red ship over one completely sprayed with polka dots. It's pretty self-explanatory. No need to turn this into an argument. -w-;

 

True and fair enough. With any luck, something like the paint tool will allow for recoloring our ship's outside.

 

I don't know why we're trying to speak logic in a sci-fi game, it's not meant to be a space simulator after all. On topic tho I really love the new designs, I agree with people on the floran ship lacking but they're works in progress so lets hope they make some changes. P.S. Loving that glitch and avian ship

This has probably been said a thousand times but I have been gone for a while so. LOVE the new floran ship totally fits their theme same with human(looks like that of a fallen empire)
edit: looked at them again. Maybe use something avian and older (based on their lore)

 

New ships look much better, although I would switch the designs for Human and Apex.

 

Humans aren't a galactic empire. So no.
