on the discovery tip I am loving these crossbows, especially with fire or poison bolts

chunky energy cost but they hit hard

 

How do you get those?

 

they're the ranged weapons for the glitch guards in castles now

if you kill enough of them one of them will drop one

 

1. When using a shield, energy doesn't recharge- this is a ninja nerf to gun+shield tactics. Perhaps this was already in AK, as I have only started using guns now.
2. Slavesword! Attacks like a spear! Produces an image of itself as a piercing projectile! The image does as much damage as the sword! It can be embedded in blocks and lasts for ~0.5s. Does not stack damage with sword stab.
3. Pressure Plate has been renamed to Proximity Sensor?
4. Hardened monster plates are more common drops o.o
5. More saplings!

-yes I understand that probably most of these have been already discovered.


Things that you might've discoverd for some reason
Refineries can refine Bars (of copper, iron, silver, gold, platinum, diamond) for 2x the ore value.
Shift=walk, selects only one block for mining/placing
ctrl + mouse = camera pan.
f1 = removes hud for the pretty picturez/puts that thing back because u need it for some reason
q = throws items

Some pics of some new stuff. Not sure if the jumpsuit is new but the rest of it is. The Slave Sword is almost definitely a reference to the Master Sword from old school Zelda.

Found a penal colony and the inmates tried to kill me with a chair. Hadn't seen that before and I've cleared a ton of those. Found it amusing. Got one as a drop. 2h, and crappy stats so I didn't bother keeping it.

 

Like Tsunder said, the master sword (may as well call it what it is) shoots out a copy of itself which does full damage. The copy also blinks rapidly in rainbow colors and makes old school 8-bit attack noises. A great weapon against ground mobs, but terrible against birds.

 

So its' like a shortsword then... hmm.. not something I would use much...>< But the looks at least make up for that.

 

Why is it the master sword when the master sword usually has a grey blade and blue hilt? Its more like the first one you get in Ocarina of Time.
