New Patch Discoveries

Some monster just telekineses lifted me 3x jump height into the air, then put me down gently. I'm confused, this is it's attack?

Yes it is, was confused myself.

Also, found avian guns and swords from the avian temple. And they were actually decent.

 

I found out completely by coincidence that you could leave the cooked alien meat on the camp fire, and after an unknown amount of time, it would become 'meat chunk'.

 

it's rigid like melee weapons, a spear to be exact, so it's hard to hit the flying mobs with it.

 

I found a whatever this is.

 

That is really cool. It adds a lot to the exploration.

 

Found that guy a while back too. He looks creepy if you ask me. I wonder why the Glitch civilians had him in a cage.

Well that is not really knew, as I have run into quite a few of those prior to the update. Although someone mentioned something about the behavior above, and that is something I don't remember seeing. Good to see though.

It is an experimental monkey apex thing. poor guy, or is it...

 

The damage from electrified barriers seems to have been severely nerfed, only doing around 15-20 damage.

Human penal colony prisoners actually have appropriate weapons now. Mostly knives and folding chairs, with the occasional gunner mixed in. One of them dropped an uzi, which made the penguin UFO a lot easier. Glad projectile weapons are easier to obtain now.

 

Anyone found any RARE or legendary ranged weapons and a starcleaver legendary sword on Sector X Tier 10 yet?
Would love to get some nice equipment back, was looking straight for 2 hours after I entered sector X and only found crap :/ need my high tech equipment before I can enjoy the game ^^

Also there are LOTS of new weather effects. When I setup my new base on a snow planet in sector X my character got hit by icecubes (not that guy from Tripple X movie).

 

I haven't found a fez yet.

I did find a completely recockulous banana hat that I refuse to wear because I will not perpetuate a stereotype. Ook.

 

Found this on the 2nd planet I went to. The Apex don't attack me, but they do give me a warning if I draw a weapon. I didn't explore anything past what I just saw because I wanted to share.

Also, I'm pretty sure this is new: if I pressed E on the bookcase that you see in the screenshot, it wouldn't open it up like a storage, but rather it would tip the books over on the shelves.

 

No I don't think that's new, but I do think they're changed the spawn rate of them.

 

i already saw this guy on the patch before this one, there was a apex building with a lot of those monsters locked.

 

Found a group of ninjas.
