New Image From Tiy - Buidlings, Characters & Furniture (From multiple races!)

Confirmed it's official.

 

Although that drawbridge looks cool, it doesn't look functional. I want to find a way to make it work.

this screen shot looks fantastic!

i love the way this little castle was made, all the blocks looks awesome, the doors look damn cool too
i like the paintings in this one alot, i think i might set up an art gallery some time once i get to play the game

it seems like the sun is about to come up in you look at the sky in the top left and middle left of the picture
also, if you look at the water-in the center and go down, it seems like there is some amount of light coming from a cavern or something underground

behind the left entrance to the castle there appears to be part of a tree, but looks as if it was placed in the background or something because it doesn't look like the back background(the mountains and rocks and stuff) but there are blocks in front of it

personally, i think the armor the human is wearing is horrible looking, not to big on the capes either
the apex upstairs looks rather angry @_@

For some reason if this wasn't Starbound the Medieval setting in a sci-fi game just wouldn't fit.

 

Yeah i noticed that myself and i deleted my post at the same time you were quoting it.

 

I like the "patchwork" windows they have. Anything more then "just glass" is awesome in my book.

Also the image NewLiar posted with the first armor set looks sick. Looks like it's on the robot race? Very evil with red eyes and a black duster styled armor.

 

I'm loving the look of the small detail items! everything from the wall lights/torches/lanterns to the decore on the table in the main hall!!
can't wait to build these myself!

 

Needs to be bigger.
I like vast mansions with long hallways and excessive amounts of rooms and decor.
But the spriting looks good.
Every time I see a screenshot like this I get more anticipating...

 

A few things to note!

1.) Yes, just about all of that furniture is from one furniture set. I can't tell you which race or which set they're from, though.
2.) Like Tiy said, the blocks are mixed and matched from a bunch of different races.
3.) The characters pictured are a human in Floran armor, an Apex in Apex armor, and an Avian in Avian armor. Plus some capes. Capes are cool.

Agreed on the "needs to be bigger", but we just wanted to build a quick little castle.

Should have guessed, the Apex are rather sci-fi. Wouldn't be surprised of they made the robots.

 

No. Dr. Robotnik makes robots.
Not apes.

 

Okay so,

The first thing i see is that Avian, Apex, and human civilisations are present in this screen. So if i'd have to make a guess, this house was build in a combination of these.


The building itself:

The wooden backgound being avian.

The stone walls being the humans walls, and the roof being apex.

It would just fit in my visualization of their building styles.

The interior:

This i am still wondering, The table and chairs look very Avian though

 

Interesting support beams. I like them.

But do they indicate that physics is more important here than in Terraria, or are they decorative?

 

Most likely decorative, seeing how they are placed in the background.
A lot of other houses the devs had built had no supports and they didn't fall down or anything.

 

Ah, good. Because I still do want to make floating buildings, since this is sci-fi and all :catface2:
