New Hairstyle Suggestions

Something like this?

 

Inspired by a certain deep sea story

 

Could use a little work, but somthing similar could be made.

Acctually, you know what? This could work better as a helmet.

 

Maybe a great horned owl style for the Avians. And vines similar to dreadlocks for Florans.
And on the topic of vines, maybe tentacles for Hylots.

 

I'd personally like to see some Lucille Ball hair for the Humans

 

I was trying to go for a Poinsettia design where the leaf and flower color are used in the same areas. I was hoping for a better effect but here it is:

Some of these fan submitted hairdos are amazing! They should just take them all and put them in the game. I wouldn't mind having like 50 hairstyles per race. xD People would be more unique in online games that way. Some of the races only really have one "good" hairstyle, and it's the commonly favored/picked one, so you'll probably ALWAYS look like the other players of that race if you pick it, which can be disappointing. Like in Terraria a lot of the time my cousins and I would end up picking the same hair every time we made a new character.

 

will do more edits maybe... have robots for now

have a feeling some (or even most!) of these dont fit with what the devs are trying to do with the robots but hey... costumization! would be nice to see implemented...

I think he is mainly referring to hair physics and how it would pose a problem in the game to pull off but in other news, I was thinking about maybe some sort of face that resembles gundam or dead space helmet but more like robotic and not just like a suit of armor...or maybe like grey fox from metal gear.

One does not simply crop image in MS Paint.

 

All this helmet/robot talk makes me want some type of playable robot race, or cronstructable robot avatars (think Surrogate) to use for exploration and/or dangerous mining expeditions.

 

See that handsome avatar? that's what we need!

 

EDIT: This looks awkwardly like two or three styles that are already in the creator, and I didn't realise until I had posted this, but I think it's different enough to be a separate style...
