Hey! I thought it may be cool if we could make a character to look a little something like this:

 

Longer Floran hair styles and some with flowers in it

 

More heads for Florans. Got some mushroom-head and vine-dreadlocks.

Aha ha, the third Hylotl has some Back to the Future hair going on, Doc Brown style. The fourth is also incredibly cute with that jelly fish hair.

I see you're looking for some suggestions. Any chance you could pixelize some cute tentacle hair onto a female Hylotl? I'm kind of obsessing over it, every since seeing Bietol's art months ago, aha ha. I'd be interested to see your own unique and artistic take on cute tentacle hair.

See, here's the problem with really long hair, as opposed to short hair.

Long hair moves. When you jump off a cliff, or swim in the ocean, hair goes all over the place.
You can pull this off with short hair, and the shorter the hair, the more believable it is.

However, with long hair, it looks really awkward when it just stays in one place. Therefore, you either animate it, let it stay awkward, or don't use it.
