What about this weird s german people sometimes use, specially the older ones when writing barrel in german (think its Der Fass or something just with a different letter which is not double s?) Havent got it on my keyboard, but it looks similar to a captial Beta or weirdly written B

Jeah you mean ß. It is a "sharp s". German sucks. Its my native, but english is by way the most advanced language in the meaning of "more information in less words/letters". I do speak norwegian and polish as well. All languages are interresting in some way. But still I'd go for english all the way. ^^ //Edit: Das Haus - the house Der Hase - the rabbit Die Kuh - the cow Don't ask me why der/die/das. ^^ I know which one I have to use with which word by, but I dont know why those are used, there is no special rule.
I liked the old font, but it didn't support many characters beyond the bare essentials, this new one is custom made and will support a lot more. It also has the benefit of being a lot more legible in-game. Good change!

Any thought being given to a ship upgrade down the road wherein we might add some basic customization to the appearance of our SAIL, or will that likely to be left to modders? As a simple example: I might set my SAIL to appear "female," another player might choose "male," and another might leave it as default.
I like the new font. The old one, well. I know it is a pixelly game, but the font doesn't have to be pixelly as well! I like the smoothness and how easy it is to read compared to the old font.
Fun fact: I've tried using Fixedsys Excelsior and Unifont in SB before. ...Certain capital letters disappeared. I'm not sure if this also happened on the Flathead font I linked earlier. But I think it's obvious that it won't happen for this new font. And maybe, just maybe, whatever caused it in the first place is gone now.
Yeah, considering how much the pop-up windows didn't adhere to the size of the "pixels" on-screen, and how gawdang smooooooooth stuff like the lighting effects were, I'll take this smoother, more legible font anyday. I don't mind a mix.
Wow, uh, I waited nearly a whole week just to be updated about the change in typeface? Is that the only major change to the game? If so, cool, I suppose. But if not, could the players please be given more important information next time? I'm not saying the change in typeface isn't interesting/important, but I just don't think it's interesting/important enough to warrant its own post.
Yeah, I'm curious too. I saw that this question has been asked on the first page and was ignored... A little attention to players from other countries would be cool. Just sayin'...
