New Floran House Picture

In my opinion, I love the tribal style that Florans use. What do you guys think?

 

Like I said in another thread, I hope that the fire torch won't be the default lighting source for florans

 

I too, love the tribal style. I really like the organic lamp next to the bed. Also, thanks for posting an unseen screenshot.

It's simple. No wtfomgbbq like tech, no electricity... I'm liking this

Nice style, but I don't think it'll fit together with my mechs...

 

I love that they use so many animal bones and pelts. Reminds me of the Wood Elves from the Elder Scrolls games.

 

Torches might not be the best light source in this case though.

 

It's confirmed, florans are obviously carnivorous.

 

That is the most precariously placed torch ever. That roof would go up in flames in seconds together with the entire house.

 

I'm a little disappointed to be honest, as awesome as the primitive style looks, I can't help but think that means they would only have primitive technology.
It would be nice to have some back story like we had for the Avians and Apex to explain how they managed to get into space and get cool stuff.
However, those bongos hiding behind the Floran in that screenshot might make an appearance in my base...

And yes, I too don't think torches are the best idea... Perhaps there might be torches with some sort of lampshade like on the one by the bed.

So far, we have two primitive races, and two advanced ones, so it looks as though the 'Mudkip' people will be pretty bland tech wise, since I doubt the robots will end up as another "cave-people" type race.

 

I freaking love that chair! I'm putting it on my furniture hunting list.

 

I'm starting to see an evolutionary theme between the races. Then again, maybe it's just me.
Definitely not a bad thing at all!

The thing that immediately caught my attention was all the bones and pelts, Who says plant people have to be tree hugging hippies?

 

For a second I thought she was carrying a tray, or plate of some sort. I was like "Omg it's a waifu!" But then I looked closer and it's a weapon. That makes it a better waifu. Implying it's female. Is it female? It looks female.
