The /creators of this game/ said they didn't want magic or heavy fantasy stuff.

I don't want it here either. Save that for Terraria or something.

I LOVED the bone dragon, sucks that they removed it D; I really liked making my own lore with it and linking it to my friends glitch character's lore.

So wait, the Tentacomet is the same one who destroyed Earth?

You guys should get as many sectors away as possible, this is going to get really messy.

Give it to the Florans to stab, keep them busy while we Avians colonize the galaxy.

And who do you think is going to go around cleaning up all your little bird corpses afterwards? Tall buildings and Avians sure don't mix.

That's why us florans will just eat them.[DOUBLEPOST=1419058054][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yeah, in the Human trailer that was made eons ago, the tentacomet ravaged the Earth. Although, the new floran missions reveals some ties between some mysterious, celestials entities. They gave the florans something, I'm assuming made the glitch, and something to do with the pentacomet. Possible the Ancient Ones or even Kluex himself.

    I've fought the tentaclecomet!

Had to use mods to stabilize his code but.

    He likes ramming into you...

I can't get through the shockhopper, what the hell am I doing wrong? I'm to geared but those missiles can easily two shot me and if I focus on shooting them down I can't spare time to damage the mech itself...

I've thought the bone dragon was a mutated glitch, as it fits the era they are stuck in. That or an evil glitch made it for a purpose, and turned on the master still having some of the cliche of the age programmed in it; that would explain the princess attraction bit. Regardless....

Shame to hear it gone though.

I have not fought any of the bosses yet in the new unstable. Not reached that point yet, due to many games having an update. Been playing small sessions at a time like the other games that updated, among other ones I just play....

Shockhopper definately needs a cheese removal - as does the floran party mission...Honestly very surprised that slipped through

It'd be a waste of assets to cut the Bone Dragon or Fatal Circuit entirely, let's be honest here. Looking at it from a time/money perspective, simply because they already exist, it means that they have a higher than average chance of being put back in.

Honestly, I'd worry less about Shockhopper being able to be cheesed and more about the fact that it's difficult bordering on impossible to beat legitimately in some instances, at least as far as my test runs went.
I both get and appreciate the strategy/timing involved in its coding, but the best I was able to manage was getting him to around half health before I got smeared across the floor, and that was with food buffs, regen, and a pretty bang-up job learning the different abilities he had.
I preferred using twin daggers on this particular character, and I'd had no trouble whatsoever on the previous bosses; here, I attempted him a good seven or eight times before making a couple different weapons to try/having a go with a few found guns instead, to similar results.

I don't think it needs a huge nerf or anything like that, but dialing back the speed of his projectiles just a ltitle would be a good idea, I think. Or, on the flipside, adjust the other bosses so it's a bit more of a fluid/expected difficulty curve.
(Once the electricity attacks started, I figured it was something of a bullet-hell scenario, but then I discovered that there was literally no way to dodge or duck out of the way of them all, techs or not. Yikes.)

Tweak the moves first, *then* fix the door trick, I say.

(And re: the bone dragon -- I think it's kinda weird that a skeletal dragon is too frivolous/un-Sci-Fi, but literal penguins piloting UFOs and heavy artillery is cool? X3 There's totally room for both, imo.)

Not sure if this is the correct spot for Shockhopper.
He was a massive increase in difficulty compared to the first 3 fights. Mission 1 and 3 are rough if you're not able to get a height advantage and rain down on your enemies, however there are multiple spots to do that. Also enemies don't quite hit hard enough in my experience to kill you before you kill them. It's close, however usually you can prevail. Mission 2 was easy after I had enough healing and figured his pattern. Mission 4(Shockhopper) was a different story.

Race:Novakid(others probably will not have access to Ranged weapons as easily...)

    Equipment:
Rubium armor(I have not found any plutonium or solarium yet).
    Aegisalt rifle

    Techs:
    Pulse Jump
    Energy Dash
    Bouncy
    Radiation Protection

    99 medkits(25 used during the 11 battles)

It comes down to recognizing all of his patterns and knowing what to do when each of these occur.

Hope I remember what the spoiler code is for BBCode...

Overload(I believe 3 hits will kill you, possibly 2)
    Dash 2000(One hit KO)
Flamethrower(Light damage I believe, though I only got hit with it once)
Missile Barrage(Nearly one hit KO, theres a trick to this)
Fist Attack(I forget the name of this one, and I think its nearly a One Hit KO, but I don't recall getting hit with it more than once)

When Overload happens, you want to do a certain thing... twice
When Dash 2000 happens, you want to do a certain thing
    When Flamethrower happens... etc

If you perform the correct action each time he does these, you will win. You will have to use some healing, and I recommend medkits or better, as Overload is unavoidable to my knowledge.

Is it just me, or are the new bosses ridiculously hard?

I tried battling Dreadwing without cheesing it, but after 7 tries, I could barely knock off two off his health...

Shockhopper can kill me in 3 of his rocket attacks, I tried evreything. Grappling hook, Shields, Ranged, Melee.

Am I just really bad at this? :( I have great weapons, full Aegisalt armor.

I suspect they've been removed from the plot-line bosses, but will probably show up again as optional/secret bosses. Or they'll drop items to progress with agricultural/building progression and thus have been left on the side for the moment.

I'm really hoping for a contra style boss with the new boss-instance tech. Destroy/explode various parts, possibly in several different locations, before taking on a living/robotic evil wall. :hylotl:

To get discussion going, I got a question for ya'll. For each boss (removed and current), what would you have made as a trophy the boss would drop? I.E. King Jelly would drop a "Sacred Jam" item.
