New Biome Predictions

I was gonna come in here and say that, but I'm pretty much 95 percent sure Tiy was talking about the tentacle biome being finished

 

But what about the Plasma race people things... Lol

 

You do realize that no ship could come close to a star? And, the Novakids would probably get assimilated with the star, even if s/he reached the star.

 

Haven't scientists discovered brown dwarfs that are cooler than the human body? While you couldn't actively "land" on it, it certainly wouldn't burn you to death at the surface.

 

Yes, but those don't classify as the star I am talking about here. Those stars are the solid cores of the stars.

 

I'd like to see an abandoned city/civilizations ruins. Potential for all kinds of cool placeables to scavenge as well as possibilities for non-random gen monsters, maybe even a pirate/bandit hideout somewhere in the biome you can clean out.

 

Underwater planet/biome.

 

A dandruff biome on a gigantic itchy scalp.

 

I would like to note that yes, my statement about stars was sarcastic. Chances are you would be too uncomfortable in the heat to last very long, it'd be like summer all year round.

 

I really hope this one is also sarcastic.

If the Chocolate Fountain is any indication, Candyland is the next/new biome.

 

A reversed planet , something like reverse gravity , mainly like a shell of terrain an a center of anti-gravity , and you can't build too high because you are being pushed too hard away, and after you dig too much you float into outer space , but it would stress the engine too much I think.

Anything but a candy/pony/super silly biome. Leave those to mods.
I know the games not serious and we've got a tentacle planet, and starbeings.. but that just seems to stray from sci-fi silly, to just bland random lol stuff.

As far as I can tell from all the info and streams, the current planet types are:

-Forest
-Grasslands
-Jungle
-Desert
-Tundra
-Snow
-Ocean
-Frozen Ocean
-Volcanic
-Crystal
-Tentacle
-Moon

I have no idea what the secret might actually be, but I hope it's not something too silly. I personally would like to see Swamp/Fungal or Rock planets. Y'know, like a desert without the sand....and more...rock. Those aren't big enough to warrant not "spoiling" though.

 

I would't mind exploring a planet made of Jello. * boing *
