New Armour Reveal and More

I hope Bartwe doesn't get in trouble for this. watched that stream and got inspired to start working on my own game again. After getting fed up with the code for a week.

(Only reason I'm posting now is because I'm stuck on a world clipping problem with the world as it clips the outerwalls it causes the underworld to be shown. That and I'm starving.)

 

Might want to remove your pictures if Bart asked you not to show these

 

Telling us to not post something that he himself is posting is kinda flawed. Wouldn't you agree? Its not our fault.

 

I grabbed about 120 items but I'm not going to post them anywhere because I want to keep seeing in-game footage in the future streams.

 

Please delete the images, I don't want any more fuss from people (and since people are paranoid and making me paranoid, they think Bartwe is going to get fired.)

He isn't posting it, it's a stream. And because of what's happening right now, he stopped showing the tests he does ingame for a while in the past. So i'm not sure it's very productive to overpaste the forum with stuff (oh and before someone point that to me, yeah idid post some screen like those some time ago, and well, still not fine with it ).

 

Just so you know, I deleted the image due to high request and paranoia.

 

If you feel that it's necessary by all means remove them. I will not be taking them of my wiki though.

There's a reason Bartwe doesn't save his videos on twitch for free rewatching.

 

I know he wants to show off some stuff for the people watching the stream, but what else do you expect with 400+ people? If he didn't want screenshots of it getting out he should've had that secret box picture up.

 

While I agree that we should respect his wishes and not post information because he is giving more information to the people who are always looking for reasons to stay excited... Streaming publicly results in public display. Which in turn, makes it public information. There isn't anything we can do to those that have the information except politely ask them to remove it from public eyes out of respect.

(Excuse me if something seems off in what I say, I'm suffering from a small bit of malnutrition while I wait on my dinner to arrive.)

 

Well seems like this thread will be up for a while since no mods are on atm and I'm getting more anxious of leaving the forums since everybody is probably starting to "hate" me.

 

Being dense? If he is seriously that worried about the images ending up on the internet, he shouldn't be streaming it in the first place, its common sense. People are gonna be watching the stream, and it there are people watching the stream there is almost certainly people screen cap-ing it. Thats like saying "Watch my videos i'm putting on the internet! But don't tell anyone about it!" Are we going to have to start signing Non-disclosure agreements before we watch videos online?

Now hate is a strong word. Some people may be... Agitated with you. But by all means nobody hates you.

Now if Tiy really wanted to keep spoilers under control... He'd make all the devs involved sign NDAs.

 

Well, he did in the past, and people complained because there weren't ingame test anymore. And he will do it again, if he needs to. And as far as i'm ok with some screenshot on the forum, i prefer by far watching them on Bart's stream (oh, and no more ingame stream = no more screenshot, if it wasn't clear enough).

 

It's not your fault at all. No one has the right to be mad at you for this post.

 

Aw come on, Bartwe asks one lousy request and you can't even comply? If he's obviously uncomfortable with these pictures going around the net, the least you could do is help by taking them down. He's already helping make the game we want so badly a reality. Show some respect man.

I understand wanting to keep somethings a surprise... but..

Really Tiy and others seem a tad overzealous about spoilers. If Bart gets into trouble over this its just.. silly.
(Not saying we shouldn't comply with the request, just hoping Bart doesn't get in trouble over things we kinda already knew in a way.)

 

I have tons of respect for Bartwe. But once something out on the web its fair game for everyone. Plus I've posted those pics for the benefit of the Starbound community.
