RELEASED New and Improved Hairstyles 3.0

Chrysanthe submitted a new mod:
New and Improved Hairstyles - Improvements to existing hairstyles for both genders and some new ones.

Minor improvements to certain existing hairstyles for both male and females.
Also includes 16 new hairstyles.

Hairstyles were made more full and consistent with other views. Some of the original hairstyles are very flat and small in proportion to the head so I decided to make some edits. Hope you like them

Will add more edits in the future! Very soon.
I do take requests and suggestions! Also working on more NEW hairstyle ideas.

Some of the outfits above were edited by me and are not available in the game.

Instructions:
. This mod replaces the original hairstyles.xnb. Please make a backup of the original file if necessary.
. Unzip or extract the hairstyles.xnb file after downloading.
. Place the file into the Stardew Valley folder under Content\Characters\Farmer and replace hairstyles.xnb.

Due to the nature of hairstyles file, there will be several BALD hairstyles. This is normal!

I love your new hairstyles a lot! I'd love to see an Ann one. Minus the ribbon, just tied up with a hair tie instead.

Yuno's hair is amazing! Would you ever think about uploading her clothes and some of the other clothes you've created anytime soon?

 

I have a question, I also have a hair mod with different hair, so how would I get both of these?

With the way the clothing works in the game, it will be hard to make these clothes for the farmer sprites. The lower part of the body cannot be changed and I also have varying waistline heights
I know there is a skirt mod though that might work for some of these so maybe when I have more outfits, I'll compile them into a collection of some sort!

You would need to unpack hairstyles.xnb and then edit the .png file.
Basically it will be cutting and pasting from one hairstyle file to the other.
Yea, I wish it were less of a hassle since there are quite a few hair mods out there.
