Try now folks, just got out of work. Should be up now, if not let me know. Since the game is early beta and with all these mods ppl are using it doesn't take much to break the universe file.

In order to get it back up I often have to wipe universe (doesn't wipe your inventory or ship) I try to do as many backups during the day as i can just in case to mitigate any losses.

This issue along with the frequent restarts are something you and I have to deal with unfortunately until the devs can polish this game some more. questions or comments by all means post away. =)

How about u disabble all the mobs ppl r using ? or atleast ban the mod who could break the universe

I might not be the smartest person to suggest that, but I'd say when we get a timeout it's because of a crash, a crash that may be related to a mod or any abnormal thing, thus I'd also suggest somehow blocking mods.

Unfortunately admin controls are very limited to who joins, modded players or not. Something the game devs are working to implement I'm sure in the near future. If I could I would disable allowing modded clients from joining since my server is vanilla I'm sure the modded ones that are joining are probably the reason the universe keeps breaking.

 

btw the next update launched, hopefully fixes server issues

 

was playing for more then 30 minutes on the server and the server dint restart after 15 minutes or even once, i think the hotfix might work this time ^^

 

You could also edit the first post and say that mods aren't appreciated

Server seems a lot more stable since Hot-fix. Server Memory isn't leaking thru the roof! Need more to join to fully test this! =]

 

Look out for a robot guy called RS-001, that will be me.

 

What happend to the Start planet ? .. i was like 1 h offline and the next time i came... the planet changed and all the buildings i helped were gone

Some little child called mikey just kept annoying me, I wanted to kill a spawngriefer (who wanted to make spawnkill) and killed that mikey once, by mistake, he lost 600 pixels, was a total crybaby about it and kept insulting me. God damn idiots...

I was building a spawn, then some other guy came and wanted to make a deathpit at the spawnpoint. I stopped him and killed him, filled then the hole. After that, he tried to block the spawn, killed him again, and by mistake, killed that mikey guy. His reaction was really childish, he kept crying about his 600 pixels, insulted me all the time, talked pure nonsense, like "you're playing god". I was not, all I had done is make me a water and a lava blaster, after I had completed the game (impervium etc). I had no other weapon to stop the griefer, and liquids disappear if there is no background anyway. But no, he kept crying, calling me things, even with an apology from my side.

SO next time such an idiot joins: fuck off, and keep the spawn safe by yourself, I was just protecting the spawn, but no, there are always overreacting idiots,

 

Yea trolls suck. Next time let me know his name so I can try to catch him in the process.
