I had noticed that most of the sprite options for character creation are the same for both available genders, so I was wondering if there would be an easy way to have a third option and have a gender neutral protagonist? The only real change I could think of is how this would affect your character using the locker rooms at the bath, but maybe that could be modded so you can go into either one, so the player can choose themselves? I have a lot of anxiety having to choose restrooms when I go out in public, so I just felt it would be nice to not have to worry as much in game.
this would be abit hard to code when you think about it theres the restrooms the wedding outfits the flower dance the he/she article what your grandfather says what parent you get letters from its not imposable but its gonna be abit tricky

Hrm, I hadn't gotten as far as the wedding outfits, and my first flower dance I didn't have high enough relationship with anyone. Most of the time when I talk to people, it's directly, so pronouns hadn't bothered me too much so far. I actually didn't even realize the parent you get letters from changes depending on your selected gender, but that doesn't bother me too much either I suppose. Thanks Keyten! I am pretty certain you don't change into special occasion clothes. (Definitely not for the wedding.) So should be good on those ~
