Network of Starbound Fanfiction Writers

I wouldn't totally abandon this clan because Starbound is still a thing. But I do like the idea. The only question is where we'd migrate to.

(In all seriousness, a Skype group sounds pretty good, but Discord works for me too. I'll see if I can set something up, but I'd rather have @Zebe make it.)

 

Uh... why me? I do stuff but don't think I have to do all the stuff. I might not even know how stuff works, depending on what we choose as our destination (e.g. I don't know about Discord).

 

I've set up a Discord server, but I'm by no means an expert (this is my first time using the program). I guess if you want in just send a friend request to me on Discord and I'll add you. I'm known as Tatterdemalion (tag #7117) on there as well.

 

Ooohohoho, this sounds interesting. For some reason or another, I've never bothered with Discord, but I suppose that will change shortly

I made an executive decision to choose Discord over Skype because Skype takes up way too much CPU for what it does and I hear Discord is better in that regard.

 

True. Recently started playing a CPU-intensive game with my friends. I found that my computer was ready for cooking dinner after half an hour, when I Skyped while playing.

Btw, I have no idea if my friend request is working... Has it arrived safely?

That worked for me, so yeah. I didn't have a space between the name and the tag, but I don't think it makes a difference.

That's more what the Discord is for than Starbound Fanfiction.

 

Of course! I've even posted one of my works on the Starbound forums, though it is an original story rather than a fan fic.

 

Feel free to join! We've transitioned from Starbound to all discussing and sharing writing in general. The chat's not super busy at the moment (it just started a couple hours ago), but I'm sure it'll pick up.

 

Then you can join the Discord conversation, although I'm not sure about the group on here.
(P.S: One of my stories should be coming out soon, probably next week!)

 

There's a small problem though, I don't have Discord. However, I saw mentions of a Skype group somewhere in this thread, do you guys actually have that? I'd be happy to join it if you do.

Discord is easy to create an accound for and use and such, but I also do Skype a lot.
