Need to change name in-game

I'm playing on Nintendo switch and can't edit my save. The name I'm using is making my game crash on certain events and the easiest solution would be to simplify my characters name. Is there any way to do it without accessing the save? Even better if it could be done in a statue somehow like the witch ones.
