That screenshot looks pretty polished, sure it was already ready and he wanted to show it in the next Dev Update he is currently working on ... !

From what CA has said, the game is done, just needs polishing here and there. Although, CA seems to be a bit of a perfectionist, so this last update has been slowly grinding away. Hopefully with his self-imposed release date, it will force him to release his death grip and let go of his baby.

Little baby Stardew has to go to kindergarten CA, let him go, only for a little while, shhh, it'll be okay. You can still see him through LPers and Steam Update, Baby Stardew has to grow up sometime.

 

My guess is update #31 will have a release date and maybe a late november or early december release, if update #31 comes in early november..

yup and i'm here to support and help a little baby Stardew. Reporting bugs should help him a lot already, once the game is out.

 

As long it does not end up dating cheap DLC and marrying micro-transactions, it's gonna be fine.
