I going into withdrawal here CA need my updates. come one man, I will give ya anything ya want, ah swear im good for it. Just need that update man

 

We get an update around every month and a half. So I wouldn't expect one till the end of October.

 

I CAN STOP WHENEVER I WANT!

 

Well there isn't much more to update us on, outside of the possibility of unicorns or a magical portal through which we can locate unearthly seeds (Expansion #2). We're down to 70 days so I expect details on release. In his last missive CA did say he's considering options to get us playing "very soon".

A lot of us have been waiting years, I'm still very excited but at the same time I expect nothing to released soon. I'm overall happy with his choices I was kinda iffy about the character art work changes but I don't really hate them, I'm just happy he's kept at HIS pace even with everything going on. Much respect Ape, Take your time man.

The real question is: Is the release date going to be announced in the next update or not?

...oh and when is update#31? I'm starting to think that he's waiting for early nov, announce a date... We'll see! (I hope that I'm wrong so I get update#31 faster, lol)

 

I'm having the same thoughts. There's only time for two more updates on CA's schedule, one in the next few days and another in early December. With CA's comments about a definite release this year and getting us playing soon, I'm wondering if he's simply going to release SV with the next update or announce a date that's right around the corner (i.e available on Steam xx/xx/xxxx). We know the game was 99% done a month prior, and he's just polishing the final bits. It's clear CA was testing out multiplayer and debating on a PC release or doing a Monogame release to cover PC/Mac/Linux all together.

Personally I'd like to see a release date, so I can put checking the website out of my mind until then. My patience has been strong for three years, though seeing the live stream made my desire swell a hundredfold.

Regardless, the game is great. The Chucklefish stream removed any doubts, and it will be a blast to dig in!

Don't worry pal ! I'm pretty sure that the more we wait, the more we will get the release date OR eventually the release !

 

He knows were all waiting on pins and needles, and CA won't let his fans down. After all these years he has to be as eager as we are to get that thing out. Here's to wishing for a Haloween harvest! Just 65 days left in the year!

Excellent we've learned CA's weakness. Everyone needs to tweet him with "It's my birthday..." followed by a request. His desire to respond to birthday wishes will make him powerless to our demands and soon Venus Flytraps will be in SV, along with passion fruits and guava, and it will be released! Muwahaha!

Side note, fully grown chickens in ST are adorable and their size makes them a potential threat. Remember to feed daily...
