    Well I'll be honest when I port warded I found it annoying it worked better than Hamachi's vps, But I do know it worked on and off one day we could play the next we couldn't. Try deleting the Starbound portword from your routers list and re-port forward it. Honestly dedicated servers work much better. Sorry for my limited knowledge I found out quick it gets way more frustrating and went to a dedicated server.

    I wouldnt recommend using hamachi in general, its not the best program...

    Could I get more information on what happened with the server? How much of a time lapse between you first connected to where you were unable to connect?
