    Proximity Sensor:

    So here's my problem
I need it to be so you can open the door with the proximity sensor if the switch is off, but not if the switch is on
There has to be a way to get back out when the switch is off
Any wiring pros that can help?

Does this mean that the switch locks the door?

If so, you can use an And Switch. The And Switch won't activate the door unless it receives signals from both inputs (the wall switch and the sensor). In other words, as long as the wall switch is on, the proximity sensor will open the door. If the wall switch is off, the door will be locked and the sensor will do nothing.

For exiting the room, you can place another proximity sensor or scanner inside the room and connect it to the same input on the And Switch as the outdoor sensor. This will allow you to exit the room as long as the door is unlocked.

Also, given how thin the door is, you could probably place a proximity scanner right next to it and it would detect on both sides of the door, eliminating the need for the proximity sensor in the hallway. I think they can scan through closed doors.
