I recently built an underwater base with a working airlock but it has a major issue and I need suggestions as to how to get around it.

    The issue is:
    • The outside override switch has to be shut off before Airlock can be used. This means there always has to be someone outside to operate the Airlock when there is more than one player using it.

Can you post a picture of the wiring?
Couldn't a sensor in the flooding chamber fix it?

The wiring is all over the place but I have just tried a sensor and it has fixed the issue. Thanks!

Alas, I am too late, though I thank the people here as well as I was having a similiar error.

Could you please tell us the intended functionality and then tell us the issue which prevents your functionality from being properly achieved?

The intended functionality was an airlock that could be opened from the outside and inside of the sub. I managed to fix it by replacing the outside lever with a motion sensor.
Thanks, I've started using this as a reference for future expansions of the sub.

You should change your wording from "bug" to "need help" as this is not an error the programmers made.
You could set up the outside/inside switch to return to off once you trigger another switch.

I'm not exactly sure what your issue is, but I feel like your air lock is way more complicated than it should be.

    Oh, that's easy.
There's a tool that has a red and a green light on it, where if you hit a button connected to the top it turns on, and if you hit a button connected to the bottom it turns off.

Al you'd need is four buttons and a persistent switch. You'll be able to open/close the airlock from anywhere.

I have completely redesigned the airlock this time basing it off of your design. It is working perfectly now.

    Thanks!
