So trying to play this with friends!

We're using Hamachi, but so far all we get are failed connects.

Any tips on getting hamachi to work or anything known to be an issue?

We're making the server USING the hamachi IP, and JONING with the hamachi IP so I am confused what the issue may be!

Also important question! Has dye been set up finally for armor/clothing!? :D

Hamachi is a very simple way of setting up servers but it's easy to have something go wrong. The way I've always done it is:

1.) Make a new network on Hamachi, invite friend to join said network.

2.) Launch server file and Starbound. The server file will already know to use the Hamachi ip as a set-up.

3.) Have your friend copy the IpV4 address of the network (aka your IpV4 address) and enter it in the box that asks for it

It's really that simple, if anything is going wrong then you are most likely having firewall issues or you and your friend can't connect to each other. One of my friends and I couldn't play on his Minecraft server because our towers didn't want to connect to each other, once he set up the server on his laptop though we were both able to join. It's the wonderful workings of the internet, not much of what goes wrong even makes sense. Have you been able to join each other's servers before? It can also depend on what anti-virus you use, many are known to interfere with server files and allowing information to flow through.

Thanks! Will have to try that, she tinkered with her side of things and got it working, but will have to test that way to make sure we can all connect to each other proper!
