Closed Neat Welder's Helmet and Handy Space Helmet not detecting Matter Blocks in inventory

As the name of the topic suggests, Neat Welder's Helmet and Handy Space Helmet aren't detecting the Matter blocks in my inventory.

Other recipes that use matter blocks are working fine.

Only noticed after Offended Koala - not sure if this is new.

If you notice, they use a different matter block, one with white borders, not green ones, the problem is that, in my case i have only found green ones

 

Is it even possible to get the white ones? I have found three matter block generators and they so far have only given me the green ones.

 

No. It's a bug within the game, they technically don't exist. Since matter blocks are supposed to have the uncommon prefix, or the colour green.

I was able to get the white ones and build the helmet but when in a asteroid field i still lose air. Am i missing a second item to work with it?

 

From what I've gathered, it's more of an anesthetic item than a practical one. You still need the survival pack to provide air, the helmet doesn't do it. (and, presumably, is not actually needed at all in that context.
...Then again, what I know only amounts to having gotten it, and finding out it doesn't work.

Also, yeah, you appear to have gravedug this topic, the matter block issue was fixed in one of the updates between then and now.
You probably should've started a new topic altogether...
