First off, I understand that this would need some kind of global server to work properly and update for everyone. I'm just gonna suggest this anyway. Wouldn't it be cool if you could go to a new planet, find a new species, and be able to name it so that everyone visiting the same planet can see the name of that creature by pressing alt? It should also tell you if it's peaceful or hostile (with some kind of symbol next to the name). That way you'll "recognize" the species and know if they're dangerous before you approach them. (I assume that you're able to find a specific species on a specific planet, but I'm not sure if this is how it works) The other idea I had, which would also require a global server is: the ability to leave marks on a planet. For example, you can design your own little flags with pixel art and place them on a planet. Then others can tell that you have been there before by your flag. Perhaps a maximum amount of flags per planet would be a good idea here (to prevent planets being ruined with a billion flags). Feel free to fill this in with similar ideas with the same requirements, and maybe they can make it happen!
