Those are the names I have used for important ships in the past in other games.

 

The Event Horizon, because once you get on board there is no going back.
That or I will name it The Hyper Nova.

Oh, is this the ship name thread again? Suppose that means another post is in order!

At the moment, I'm considering Scales of Mammon to be my best option so far. Aside from referring to the reptilian scales of a diabolical beast, which I certainly intend to be, it has to do with that certain balance colloquially referred to as 'scales'. And in Mammon's case, they always tip in his favour.

I think it goes back to ancient times and the fact most sailors were male and the lack of girls made them lonely so they developed the habit of referring to all ships as female a trait that continues to this day...
at least that is the explanation I hear whether it is true or not I have no idea... (out of my area of expertise)

I have several possibilities, Viper, Basilisk, honestly I don't know... yet...

probably never.
I'm just here suggesting stuff.

 

Unless the name is printed in giant bold italic ink on the side of your ship
and dont think the name will ever come up often.

in FTL the name of the ship only came up twice
1: when naming it.
2: on score boards.
